The 7,5 hour performance tackles the lack of women’s representation throughout history and plunges into the depths of the gender discourse around naming, its power, and its stigmas.

The long-durational performance, NAME HER. In Search of Women+, undertakes an archeological expedition to discover female narratives and reimagine, through the female lens, overlooked points of view from fictional characters to artists, scientists, mothers, grandmothers, great-grandmothers, martyrs, cooks, soccer players, architects, bandits, paleontologists, entrepreneurs, lawyers, socialists, activists, authors, warriors, rulers, astronauts, and super heroes. Excavating these women, NAME HER lists thousands of names in alphabetical order from world history, recounts anecdotes and fates, and samples videos, music, and dance.
